Codebase audit and technical due diligence

A fixed-price review of your codebase and infrastructure, delivered in one to two weeks. You get a written assessment of what you actually own, where the risk sits, and what it would take to fix. No open-ended discovery, no hourly meter running while we read your repository.

Worth an audit if

You are about to commit budget and nobody can tell you the real scope
You inherited a system and the documentation is a folder of screenshots
Every estimate your team gives comes back at triple the number

What you get

A map of what exists

The codebase, the services it depends on, the infrastructure it runs on, and the parts nobody has opened in years. Written down, in one place, in language your engineers and your finance people can both read.

The risks, ranked

What will break, what will get expensive, and what is fine despite looking alarming. Ranked by what it costs you to ignore, not by how offensive it is to read.

A costed path forward

Concrete options with the trade-offs attached, so the next decision is a business decision rather than a leap of faith. You can take the report to another shop. It is yours.

How it works

Fixed price, agreed before we start, so the cost does not move while we read. One to two weeks depending on the size of the system. You get the written report whether or not you hire us for anything afterwards, and most audits end in either a fixed-price project or a maintenance contract.

Common questions

What does an audit cost?

It is a fixed price, quoted up front once we know roughly how big the system is. Fixed means fixed: the number does not move because we found something unpleasant in week two.

Do we have to hire you afterwards?

No. The report is yours to take wherever you like, including to a competitor. An audit that only makes sense if you buy the next thing is a sales call, not an audit.

How much of our team's time does it take?

Some. We need repository access, a walkthrough from whoever knows the most, and answers to questions as they come up. We work around your team rather than parking them in workshops for a fortnight.
