Full product ownership

One team accountable for a product end to end: design, engineering, infrastructure, launch, and running it afterwards.

What it costs

  • Fixed cost per scoped phase.
  • Hourly when the work is open-ended.

What you get

  • The product built and deployed, including the infrastructure it runs on.
  • Decisions about what to build next, based on what users actually do.
  • Ongoing operation: monitoring, incidents, updates and changes.

Common questions

Do we own the code?

Yes. The repository, the infrastructure accounts and the documentation are yours throughout, not at the end as a reward for good behaviour.

What if we want to bring it in house later?

That is a normal outcome and we plan for it. We document as we go so a new team inherits a codebase rather than a mystery, and we will help you hire them.

How is this different from a fixed-price project?

A project has an end. Ownership does not. If you know exactly what you want built and then want it back, take the project.
